Homebuyers CCTV Drain survey

Homebuyers CCTV Drainage Survey

Home-buyers CCTV Drainage Surveys.

A homebuyers CCTV drainage survey can save our customers thousands of pounds each year. We are able to determine the structural integrity of the drainage system before you purchase the property. Often, our customers are able to negotiate a reduction in cost of the property for repairs.  As part of our homebuyers cctv drainage survey, you will be provided with a full report and plan.

Off-mains systems such as septic tanks, cesspits and sewage treatment plants are prominent in West Wales. Many customers who have never had any experience with off-mains drainage systems benefit from our homebuyers surveys.

Construction / New Build drain survey.

West Wales Waste are Welsh Water approved contractors. We are equipped to supply pre-adoption surveys to new build construction sites.

All new build sites require a pre-adoption survey on drainage networks before Welsh Water agrees to adopt or transfer the sewer network. We pre-clean all of the drainage using Jetvac combination units before undertaking the survey. If any defects or problems are identified, we will let the construction company know. They are then able to repair them before submitting the report to Welsh Water.

The Welsh Water pre-adoption survey gives Welsh Water the go ahead to take over ownership of the drainage, and will allow them to repair and maintain the drainage from then onwards.

Problem Investigating.

Drain surveying or CCTV inspections are important to our domestic and commercial customers who have previously had an issue with drains or sewers. We are able to investigate using underground drainage inspection equipment and are able to detect for the following:

  • Signs of a leak or break in the drainage system
  • Damage which will include crack and breaks in pipework
  • Mis-alligned pipe connections
  • Pitch fibre blistering
  • Holes where rodents are able to enter the sewer
  • Collapsed drains

A CCTV Drain Survey gives our team a good indication of what and where the issue may be so we can put together a plan and process to repair the issue.
